Can You Change the World by Eating a Cookie?

We think the answer is YES! When you choose to support a girl by purchasing Girl Scout Cookies, you are actively participating in her success and investing in her potential to become a strong, confident and resourceful citizen. Much more than a fundraiser, the Girl Scout Cookie Activity is a hands-on leadership and entrepreneurial program for girls, through which they practice life skills like goal setting, decision-making, money management, people skills and business ethics. Many successful business women today say they got their start selling Girl Scout Cookies!

All of the proceeds from our council's cookie activities remain in the area where the cookies are sold. This revenue is used to benefit girls, some of it directly by remaining in the Girl Scout troop/group treasury and some of it indirectly by subsidizing the cost of providing the Girl Scout program in the local area.

When are Girl Scout Cookies Available?

Girls take pre-orders January 9 - 18, 2010 .

Girls will deliver pre-ordered cookies February 10 - 17, 2010 .

Girls and Girl Scout Troops will be out in front of stores in your community running Direct Sales/Booth Sales from February 19 - March 14, 2010 .

What is the cost of a box of Girl Scout Cookies?

Girl Scout Cookies are $4.00 per box. Proceeds from the Girl Scout Cookie Program support Girl Scouting, and the price per box varies throughout the country. Each region determines price based on the needs in the communities it serves.
