Water Drop Patch Program
For Brownie through Ambassador Girl Scouts
The Water Drop Patch Project inspires Girl Scouts to learn about water quality and to take action in their communities to protect and restore local water resources, including their local rivers, lakes, streams, wetlands and ground water. The project supports the Girl Scout Leadership Development Program by promoting the following

goals for girls:
Discover - Explore the natural world to learn about watersheds and water pollution
Connect - Use their skills and their knowledge to work with others to educate their communities about the need to protect the nation's valuable water resources
Take Action - Make a difference in their communities by becoming watershed and wetlands stewards.

Asthma Awareness Patch
For All Ages
Learning about the respiratory system and how we breathe is the basis of the Asthma Awareness Program: Helping Girls Breathe Easier. Girls will develop knowledge of asthma triggers, making healthy choices such as avoiding cigarette smoke and eating healthy foods, and practicing

relaxation techniques. By completing activities and earning the patch, girls can help create asthma awareness by reaching out to the ir community. Empowering girls to take charge of their health can lead to increased self-esteem and responsible decision-making.

The White House Project Ms. President Patch
For All Ages
Do you want to see a woman in the White House one day? The White House Project, an organization that is changing

the way people think about women in leadership roles, worked with Girl Scouts of the USA to develop the Ms. President Patch. Take time to celebrate those women who have paved the way in social and political reform, as well as to learn about those who are on the frontlines of government today.

In the Zone: Living Drug-Free
For All Ages
These Girl Scout booklets, funded in part by the Office of National Drug Control Policy, encourage girls to find their "z

one" by living a positive, healthy, and drug-free life. In addition to the four booklets, the series comes with an adult guide that provides advisors and parents with the tools they need to help keep their child drug-free.

The Penny Project: A Financial Literacy Curriculum
For Brownie Girl Scouts
The Penny Project is Girl Scouts' financial literacy curriculum for Brownie Girl Scouts, ages 6-8, which uses an

interactive educational approach to help girls gain an understanding of money and the responsibility that goes with it. Funded by Mutual of America, The Penny Project kit includes an activity booklet, adult guide, game board, game cards and a poster.

CentsAbility: A Financial Literacy Curriculum
For Junior Girl Scouts
The CentsAbility curriculum enables girls ages 8 to 14 to take charge of their financial futures by developing important skills early, including

personal money management, investing, and entrepreneurship. As they explore the relationship between lifestyle and occupational choices and imagine themselves as adults, they learn the all-important balancing act between income and expenses as they create and balance their budgets.

Follow the Reader
For Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts
Follow the Reader: A Girl Scout Family Reading Project consists of three booklets developed for Daisy, Brownie, and

Junior Girl Scouts and their families. These booklets meet the important need for bilingual Girl Scout materials to focus on a family's involvement in teaching their children to read. This series of Spanish and English resources also offers families the opportunity to read together in the language in which they feel most comfortable.

The Fit's Inn program is designed as a fun and healthy getaway—just for girls. This

national, multimedia program encourages Girl Scout Brownies and Girl Scout Juniors to make smart choices about nutrition and fitness.

Get with the Land Patch
For Brownie through Ambassador Girl Scouts
Linking Girls to the Land (LGTTL) is an interagency partnership between Girl Scouts of the USA's Elliott Wildlife Values Project and federal natural resource agencies. This partnership works toward giving

every girl an opportunity to participate in conservation and outdoor programs. LGTTL encourages partnerships between Girl Scouts and federal natural resource agency representatives on local and national levels to offer more joint conservation and outdoor projects to 2.8 million girls across the country.

Transit Safety and Education
For All Ages
Discover. Connect. Take action. Discover the ins and outs of how to ride public transit and the safety required in order

to ride. Complete the activity requirements and earn a patch developed in collaboration with TriMet and Operation Lifesaver, Inc.

Our Rights, Our Responsibilities Patch
For Junior Girl Scouts
Join with Girl Scouts and Girl Guides internationally to gain a greater awareness of human rights and why they are

essential for children worldwide. The activities in this patch encourage you to take constructive responsibility for claiming basic rights for yourselves and for others. In the process, you will be empowered to become effective citizens in your local and global communities.

Discover the World Patch
For Girl Scouts 11-17
The Discover the World Patch is focused on intercultural exploration and budget travel. To complete the patch, girls

choose between activities ranging from trip planning and interviewing international travelers to participating in local volunteer projects. The patch helps girls become more engaged, caring world citizens.

Princess Zip
For Junior Girl Scouts
Fit for a Princess is a patch program for Junior Girl Scouts. The program focuses on these messages—eat smart and

be physically active—and uses reader’s theatre as the message vehicle. The program consists of an activity booklet for each girl that contains the reader’s theatre script, tiara, cooking, physical education and communication activities, Princess Zip patch, Group Leader’s Guide and Family Letter.
Patches and Material are provided by the Oregon Beef Council at no cost and are available for pick up at the Girl Scout Store .
Zink the Zebra
For All Ages
Need a little love and understanding? Zink the Zebra can help. This program provides your troop with the opportunity to

take a look at the importance of understanding, respect, compassion and acceptance of themselves and others. With diversity all around us it can be important to help each other appreciate those differences and Zink can show you the way with fun games and activities. With a full activity guide and the choice to purchase Zink the Zebra’s, earn the patch and spread the friendly message of acceptance.
