Ways to Support Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington
Credit Card Girl Scouts OSW offers you the convenience of making your gift with your credit card. We currently accept Mastercard and Visa. If you are making a credit card gift, please be sure to include your card number, expiration date, name, address and amount of your gift.
Personal Check You can make your gift to the Girl Scouts with your personal check, simply send it in or visit the office in person. We would be happy to meet you.
Family Partnership is a way for parents and adult Girl Scouts to tangibly express their belief in the value of Girl Scouting through their financial support to Girl Scouts OSW.
Pledges. A pledge is a promise to give a certain amount of money over a certain period of time. Perhaps you would like to make a larger gift to the Girl Scouts, but it would strain your budget to make the gift all at once. Girl Scouts OSW accepts pledges and would be happy to provide you with payment reminders monthly, quarterly or at times requested by you.
In-Kind Contributions of supplies, contract services or a variety of equipment will be considered. Contact the Fund Development Office.
Matching Gifts are often possible through employers who have matching gift programs. Usually these programs match a donor's gift dollar for dollar, doubling your support for Girl Scouts! Local companies like Nike and PGE have these programs. Are you taking advantage of them? You can find out if your employer has such a program by contacting your company's human resources department.
Gifts of Stock can be transferred from your account to Girl Scouts. Contact the Fund Development Office for more information.
Memorial and Tribute Gifts are a thoughtful way to remember a loved one or friend and to celebrate special occasions. Consider asking friends to donate to Girl Scouts in your name instead of spending money on a birthday gift, or give the gift of Girl Scouting to someone who can't afford it in honor of your daughter's Gold Award. Gift acknowledgements are sent to the donor and to the families and/or individuals being remembered and honored. Donations are also honored in the Collage newsletter that is mailed to 5,000 Girl Scout volunteer households.
Planned Gifts make it possible for you to leave a lasting legacy to Girl Scouts by helping guarantee the future of Girl Scout of Oregon and Southwest Washington. Include us in your will, living trust, gift annuity, or with an outright cash endowment gift.
United Way Gifts can be designated to the charity of your choice. You will receive information on this option during the annual United Way campaign in your workplace. Please remember Girl Scouts!
Vehicle Donation is a simple way to help us accomplish our mission while saving yourself the headache of selling, trading or repairing your vehicle.
To donate a vehicle (car, truck, RV, boat, aircraft, trailer, etc.) to Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington, contact the Fund Development department at (800) 338-5248 x6863 or contact Volunteers of America at (503) 239-7944 and specify that you would like to donate your vehicle to Girl Scouts OSW.
