Fall Family Work Party
When: August 28, 2010 (Sat) - 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where: Camp Arrowhead
To Register: E-mail DOSKID@msn.com
Details: Fall Family Work Party. Love Camp Arrowhead and helping out? Come give a helping hand. Come as a troop or family (all adults must be registered approved volunteers), bring a sack lunch and enjoy giving back to camp. Projects available for all abilities from sweeping to taking down tents and light building.

 

Resident Camp Reunion
When: October 23, 2010 (Sat) - 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where: Washington Park, Portland
Cost: $5.00/person

Details: Missing summer camp? Want to share ideas for next summer? Come share your memories and meet up with camp friends. Did you enjoy Girl Scout camp as a kid? Want to see what we are doing now? Come join us for a day in the park sharing song, s'mores and games.

Last Minute Event Additions

Sewing III 

When: August 9, 11 and 12, 2010
1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Where:

Eugene Service Center

Who: Girls entering third grade and up
Cost:

$40* per person. Fee includes all materials and snack.
*Additional $12 for Girl Scout annual membership dues

Details:

Girls will choose their sewing project. Options include shorts, pajama pants, lap quilt, Nanju Fringe bear or pillow. Will make sewing kit if needed.

Girl Scouts After Dark 

You and your girls are invited to participate in an evening of fun at Westfield Vancouver! Come for an ice cream social, a fashion show put on by fellow Girl Scouts, badge activities at participating retailers and stay late for a Radio Disney dance party just for Girl Scouts!

The cost is $12.50 for currently registered Girl Scouts, and $25 for new members, which includes Girl Scout annual membership dues.

We encourage all existing members to pre-register for the event through Westfield, although we are accepting walk-in registrations the evening of. All checks should be made out to Westfield Vancouver. You will receive your t-shirts & wristbands at pre-registration and won’t have to wait in a long line to check in at the event!
