Thank you for helping to make our 2010 Girl Scout Cookie Program a success!
With your support, girls in our council sold 1.76 million boxes of cookies in 2010. Check back with us in January for information about the 2011 Girl Scout Cookie Program!
When you purchase Girl Scout cookies, you are actively participating in a girl's success and investing in her potential to become a strong, confident and resourceful citizen. Much more than a fundraiser, the Girl Scout Cookie Program is a hands-on leadership and entrepreneurial program for girls, through which they practice life skills like goal setting, decision-making, money management, people skills and business ethics. Many successful business women today say they got their start selling Girl Scout cookies!
All of the proceeds from our council's cookie activities remain in the area where the cookies are sold. This revenue is used to benefit girls, some of it directly by remaining in the Girl Scout troop/group treasury and some of it indirectly by subsidizing the cost of providing the Girl Scout program in the local area.
