Family Partnership
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character,
who make the world a better place.
Your generous support helps us achieve this mission.

What is Family Partnership?
Family Investment:
Family Partnership is a way for parents and adult Girl Scouts to tangibly express their belief in the value of Girl Scouting through their financial support to their local Girl Scout council. The membership registration fee does not stay within the council, it goes to national headquarters. Family Partnership gives families the opportunity to support the services and facilities within our local council.
Internal Support/Adult Giving:
Family Partnership is a donation from adults or by families. It is not a girl fundraising activity or money earning opportunity. All families need to be given the opportunity to donate to our council. It is the role of the Fund Development Coordinator to train Girl Scout leaders about Family Partnership and the importance of asking their families to participate.
Goal for the Council:
Each service unit is asked to set a goal for service unit donations for Family Partnership. Work with your service team to set this goal. Service unit's working in partnership with the council can make this goal a reality.
