Registration and Confirmation for Activities

How do I find the event I'm looking for?
Browse the list of events below, or search for an event by name. Click on "Advanced Search" to find events by keyword, region, date, grade level or category!

How do I know if my registration is confirmed?
You will receive a detailed receipt upon completion of the registration process. This receipt is your activity registration confirmation; if you do not automatically receive a detailed receipt, you are not registered. If this happens to you, please immediately contact activities@girlscoutsosw.org for assistance. For some events, an additional confirmation email will be sent with more activity information such as a packing list.

Cancellation and Refunds

In order to receive a refund, you must submit cancellation or refund request in writing by email to activities@girlscoutsosw.org one week before a single day activity, or three weeks before an overnight activity.

During the registration process, you may cancel your registration at any time prior to reaching the payment stage. If you exit the registration process from the payment screen, you will not be able to confirm your registration without staff assistance (please email activities@girlscoutsosw.org if this happens to you). 

Late Fees

All registrations processed after the registration deadline will include a $5 late fee (late registrations are not available for all activities). Submit request for late registration to activities@girlscoutsosw.org.

Girls in the Woods 2017

Location: Willamette National Forest, Eugene, OR, 97401, US

Monday, August 7, 2017, 10 a.m. - Friday, August 11, 2017, 3:00 p.m. Discover orienteering, fire building, boating, hiking at Clear Lake and outdoor cooking, all while practicing Leave No Trace principles at Girls in the Woods outdoor adventure camp! This five-day overnight camp is hosted by U.S. Forest Service staff. There are two ways to participate: tent camping at Fish Lake for the week, or three days of wilderness backpacking plus two days of tent camping at Fish Lake. $300 per girl ($50 non-refundable deposit) Registration closes July 17, 2017, three (3) weeks before the activity is scheduled. Deposit due no later than July 10, 2017 and full amount due July 17, 2017. Refund deadline is July 17, 2017. Request for cancellation must be submitted via email to activities@girlscoutsosw.org by this date to receive a full refund, less the $50 deposit.

Harry Potter Twilight Camp

Wednesday, August 9, 2017 - Friday, August 11, 2017 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm each day Join us for the first Harry Potter Twilight Camp at the Medford Service Center! Explore some of the same subjects that Harry studied at Hogwarts including Care of Magical Creatures, Potions and Herbology. Try delicious butterbeer and test your skills at Quiddich. Dinner include each night.

Day Trips & Indoor Overnights Training

Saturday, August 19, 2017; 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Walk on the wild side on this fun day of exploration in the Eugene area. Wear your walking shoes, bring a camera and get started on the Art in the Outdoors badges. Parents will receive a detailed itinerary one week before the trip. Safari Adventure Overnight at Wildlife Safari

Grab a compass and navigate your way through a nature trail and meet some of the animals who live at Wildlife Safari through a hands-on animal encounter! Bring your tent, camping gear and dinner. Enjoy all the sounds of the animals as you sleep under the stars! Evening snack and breakfast provided. Registration closes Saturday, July 29, 2017, three (3) weeks before the activity is scheduled. Solar Eclipse – Totality Awesome!

Monday, August 21, 2017 Arrival time: 6:30 a.m. Event time: 7:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. Price: $18 (additional items available for pre-order).  Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington’s Camp Whispering Winds is in the path of totality for the solar eclipse on August 21, 2017! This means that it will get totally dark outside around 10:15 a.m. when the moon passes between the Earth and the sun. This total solar eclipse is the first visible in the U.S. in 26 years and the last visible in Oregon for nearly a century. GSOSW is hosting a viewing party and STEM expo and we are inviting all girls, their friends and family to come experience this amazing event! Learn about beneficial insects and build a winter home for the good guys in the garden. In the kitchen, learn to make bruschetta, a delicious Italian treat and create a refreshing salad from our sweet melons. Beach & Riverside Cleanup

Girl Scout Day with the Portland Thorns

Bring your family and friends to join fellow Girl Scouts to cheer on the Thorns and their all-star roster of players. Small Craft Canoe & Kayak Blended Training

Learn to take girls out on flat water in a canoe and kayak in this weekend long training. This is a blended class, you will completed 3+ hours of training on your computer prior to the in person skills portion. A certificate of completion for the online portion will be required to attend the in person skills test portion. Participants will pay Red Cross directly approximately $46.00 when they register for the blended portion of the training. Effective 10/13/17, the total fee for this training will increase to $95.00 to include the late registration fee.
