Girl Scouts is all about girl-led activities! From STEM exploration, to art, to travel and everything between, Girl Scout program activities offer a whole world of adventure and learning. Sit down with your Girl Scout and let her voice be heard as you plan for your fun together!

Cancellation and Refunds

Activities hosted by Girl Scouts:

The request for a refund must be made one (1) week before a single-day activity and three (3) weeks before an overnight activity. Please send your refund request to activities@girlscoutsosw.org by those deadlines to receive a full refund.

GSOSW reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If GSOSW cancels an event, registrants will be notified and offered a full refund.

Registration, cancellations and refunds are handled directly through our partner. Contact information for each partner is in the activity description. 

Approved Outfitters

An "Approved Outfitter" is a facility or vendor that has completed the Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington approval process. They also meet GSUSA sarety and insurance requirements.

Dog Mountain Guided Hike - Fall 2018

MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED

Date: Sat Oct 06, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM PST

Location: Stevenson, WA

Saturday, October 6, 2018, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. One of the most popular hikes in the Columbia River Gorge, Dog Mountain is sure to wow hikers of all ages! Join this seven mile round-trip summit excursion and learn about Leave No Trace practices, native plants, and the history of the Columbia River Gorge. Bring your own lunch to eat at the summit. Hiking experience is strongly recommended; Dog Mountain has a 2,800 foot elevation gain. Joining this hike will earn you a Dog Mountain patch! $5/girl Registration for this Activity is hosted by Girl Scouts - Please email activities@girlscoutsosw.org on or before the registration deadline for assistance. Registration closes September 29, 2018, one (1) week before the activity is scheduled. Troop's First Campout Fall 2018

Date: Sat Oct 13, 11:00 AM - Sun Oct 14, 2:00 PM PST

Location: Camp Arrowhead, Stevenson, WA

Saturday, October 13, 2018, 11 a.m. -  Sunday, October 14, 2018, 2 p.m. Are you and your troop ready to go camping together for the first time? Try it out in cabins at Camp Arrowhead! You will bring your own food, supplies and activities, while Girl Scout staff will be on-site and ready to offer support. After you register, you will receive a packing list and camping tips to help your troop prepare! For this event, attendees must register together as a troop, using the Program/Event Registration form #201. Attach an additional sheet listing attendees if needed. Unfortunately, we cannot accept online registrations for this event. Email this form to activities@girlscoutsosw.org; we can accept paper registrations mailed to the Portland or Eugene Service Centers, but email is preferred. Registration for this Activity is hosted by Girl Scouts - Please email activities@girlscoutsosw.org  on or before the registration deadline for assistance.  Registration closes September 22, 2018, three (3) weeks before the activity is scheduled.  Refund deadline is September 22, 2018, request for cancellation must be submitted via email to activities@girlscoutsosw.org by this date to receive a full refund. Camp Arrowhead Family/Troop Fall Work Party 2018

Date: Sat Oct 20, 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM PST

Location: Camp Arrowhead, Stevenson, WA

Saturday, October 20, 2018, 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (optional overnight Saturday, October 20, 2018) Visit camp and help with a service project at the same time! All abilities welcome and lunch will be provided. Did we mention 2019 overnight camp certificates? All girls working will get a $20 certificate and there will be a drawing for a $100 certificate, as well as one free week to be used for overnight camp 2019! Want to try canoeing, have a campfire and cook some s'mores? Stay for the optional overnight at no additional cost! This is a free event. Registration close date is Saturday, October 13, 2018, one (1) week before the activity is scheduled. Contact Elieen Skidmore at doskid@msn.com to register.

Wind Mountain Guided Hike - Fall 2018

MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED

Date: Sun Oct 21, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM PST

Location: Camp Arrowhead, Stevenson, WA

Sunday, October 21, 2018, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Climb a mountain and visit a sacred Native American site at its summit! Take a 3.5 mile, round-trip guided hike up Wind Mountain to learn about its history, how to plan and prepare for a day hike and trail etiquette. Bring a lunch to eat at the top. Basic hiking experience is recommended, this hike gains 1800 feet of elevation and the trail is narrow and steep. Joining this hike will earn you a Wind Mountain patch! $5/girl Registration for this Activity is hosted by Girl Scouts - Please email activities@girlscoutsosw.org on or before the registration deadline for assistance. Registration closes October 14, 2018, one (1) week before the activity is scheduled.
