Girl Scouts Farm to Fork: Cheese and Compost

The garden is in full bloom and working hard, now its time to talk nutrients. Just like our bodies, the garden needs food too. In this class, we will feed our plants and learn about compost; what it is and how to make it. In the kitchen, we will learn to make ricotta cheese and then explore the many different cheeses made in southern Oregon. 


Patch information
A fun patch is included in registration.

Girls must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If attending as a troop, the correct girl/adult ratio must be followed (ratios can be found in 2016/2017 Volunteer Essentials on page 65).
