Parents are not placed with their campers during camp, unless it is medically necessary. All adult volunteers on site must be registered with GSUSA, pass a background check and must participate in both indoor and on site trainings prior to camp. Children of full-week, full-day volunteers are guaranteed placement in units. If a volunteer fails to maintain their commitment as a full-week, full-day volunteer, their children may not be allowed at camp due to understaffing issues. If a volunteer is dismissed from camp for any reason during the week, their children will not be allowed to stay at camp.

Boys and Widgets: Boys and Widgets are children of volunteers who are not Girl Scouts. Boys entering grades 1-6 are welcome to come to camp if their parent is volunteering. Widgets are girls and boys ages 3-5 who are potty trained. The Widgets are only allowed on the days their parent/guardian is volunteering at camp.
