When: July 8-12, 2019, 9 am - 3 pm

Location: Mountaindale Outdoor Program Center, North Plains, OR

From March 1 to March 31: Camper, grades 1-7/PAIT $96, Program Aide $30, Boys (ages 6-12) $65, Tag-a-longs (ages 2-5) $36.
From April 1 to April 30: Camper, grades 1-7/PAIT  $106, Program Aide $30, Boys (ages 6-12) $65,  Tag-a-longs (ages 2-5)  $36.
From May 1 to May 31: Camper, grades 1-7/PAIT  $116, Program Aide $35, Boys (ages 6-12) $65,  Tag-a-longs (ages 2-5)   $36

Registration: To register, please submit the day camp registration forms (available on the Day Camp page on our website) to the registrar by email or U.S mail. Program Aides should include the Day Camp PA/CIT Reference Form. All fees due with registration; Cookie/Nut Credits will be reimbursed once the day camp registrar receives Cookie/Nut Credit reimbursements from GSOSW.

Cancellation: To cancel your registration, email 100% refund will be given if request to cancel is received on or before April 30. After April 30, a 50% refun will be given until May 30, 2019. No refunds after May 30, 2019.

Units: All units are age-based and will participate in camp-planned activities as well as enjoy free time to socialize and build friendships. All units are adult volunteer-led with young adult assistants.

Transportation: All campers must ride the bus, except children of volunteers. Finalized information regarding buses will be sent out with camper confirmation letters. More bus stops may be added as needed. Bus Stops currently include: 

MacDonalds in North Plains 

Sunset Esplanade 

Zion Church on Glencoe Road in Hillsboro 

"Old" Mountaindale Store in Mountaindale 

Indian Hills Elementary in Hillsboro

Overnight and Almost Overnight: On Thursday, July 11th, girls entering grade 4 or above in the fall (including all Program Aides) may choose to stay for part of the evening or all night to experience a traditional camp fire and additional activities.

PAITs and Program Aides: Girls entering grade 7 who wish to work toward their Program Aide (PA) pin can register for Program Aide-In-Training (PAIT). Girls will receive instruction as well as opportunities for hands-on leadership experience. Girls entering grade 8 or higher who have completed council approved Program Aide training can register as a PA. Please complete the Day Camp Program Aide Application and one Program Aide Reference and submit with registration paperwork. All adult volunteers and Program Aides are required to attend the camp-wide In-Service the Saturday before camp.

Volunteers: All adult volunteers must be registered, have a current background check, and complete training. All adult volunteers are required to attend our camp-wide In-Service the Saturday before camp.

Full-week adult volunteers will receive a camp fee credit of $20 per child if the adult is registered and background checked by April 30. Those registered after April 30th will receive a refund of $10 per registered child after camp. For more information, please contact the day camp director or day camp registrar. 

Tagalongs: Boys and tagalongs can attend camp if they are attending with a full time volunteer. Tagalongs are girls and boys ages 2-5 and most be potty-trained. Boys are defined as age 6-12.
