AFS USA Intercultural Programs and Education
AFS USA and their inbound international students will share their cultural differences through a quiz game show. Let's engage and break down stereotypes between cultures through games and interaction! There will even be prizes handed out!

Association of Women In Automotive
Learn the nuts and bolts of automotive care with a dexterity demonstration and challenge! Can you assemble the components? Learn about the skills  required by automotive technicians when working on vehicles.

AutoZone Portland Region
Working on cars is easier than you may think! Join AutoZone and practice on actual car to learn about automotive repairs such as checking and changing tires, and how to test and jump the car battery.

Beaverton Civic Theatre
Beaverton Civic Theatre is the award winning resident theatre in the Beaverton City Library Auditorium.

Canine Companions for Independence
Join Canine Companions for Independence and their furry friends to learn about service dog skills, grooming, handling, and how these pals make a world of difference in the life of their handlers.

Clark College NERD Girls
Visit NERD Girls for a fun hands-on activity demonstrating Newton's Third Law and learn more about STEM fields and Clark College in Vancouver, WA.

Cookie Central
Come check out our blinged booth, and get ideas on how to bling your own! Make a Cookie Box Windsock or a Goal Poster Placard. Check out next year's Cookie Program rewards, as well as some fun troop craft ideas to pump girls up for 2016!

The Craft Factory
Stop by The Craft Factory booth to explore a mix of signature craft projects including mini robots, book covers, and other wood-based crafts. Use a low heat glue gun to affix an assortment of multimedia decorations, including traditional craft supplies and recycled and repurposed objects. Learn about how to earn a badge or complete a step on your Journey.

Creative Media and Digital Culture
This interactive exhibit showcases Augmented Reality (AR), digital publishing, as well as 2D and 3D animation works created by students in the Creative Media & Digital Culture Program (CMDC) at Washington State University Vancouver. Discover the range of how digital tools can be used for digital storytelling and learn how the CMDC students created these works as well as the resources available for you to create your own AR and digital publishing works.

EF Tours for Girl Scouts
Visit Education First Tours for Girl Scouts to find your adventure abroad! Take photos with your friends at a photo booth and find out how an all-inclusive Girl Scout trip to another country can open your heart and eyes to the world.

The Fab Lab
Learn about small ways you can incorporate science into your everyday life. See a talk and demonstration based on ice cream, and a nail painting project.

The Portland FBI will be doing finger printing and helping Juniors earn part of their Detective skill badge. Come try on FBI equipment and learn about internet safety and etiquette!

Fort Vancouver National Trust dba Pearson Field Education Center
Construct "whirly-gigs" out of various neon-colored sheets of paper and see what happens when you release them into the stream of air above a wind tunnel! Learn about the Pearson Field Education Center.

Girl Circus
Juggle, jump through hoops, and spin a baton! Explore and play with piles of circus toys, hoops, batons, poi and juggling balls.

Help make Girl Scouts the best leadership development program for girls! Stop by this booth to sign up for Girl Scout Voices, an exciting opportunity from the Girl Scout Research Institute that lets girls, volunteers, and parents share their thoughts about Girl Scouting through occasional online surveys.

Discover games to help uncover myths and facts about what makes a healthy relationship and get information on upcoming classes.

Invite-a-Friend Invitation Station
Calling all girls who are having a great time with their troop! Visi this booth to craft your own special Invite-a-Friend cards so you can invite your besties to join Girl Scouts. We'll have cards, markers, and stickers - just bring your imagination. Troop leaders will get a handy resource list full of ideas to help make your troop's Invite-a-Friend activities a big success!

John's Incredible Pizza Company
Learn about John's Incredible Pizza's "Eat & Play in a Healthy Way" Tour with a word scramble and word activity sheet.

Love Rocks
Love Rocks are hand made using fabric hearts mod podged onto rocks. Once dry these little tokens have an amazing ability to spread love and joy to whoever finds them.

Mad Science of Portland & Vancouver
Mad Science welcomes you to Scientopia, a hands-on booth experience which engages girls in activities that teach Static Energy, Air Pressure, and Sound, and much more! Like what you see? Mad Science will also be selling T-shirts and take home experiement projects. Continue the fun on your own!

The Marissa Mission
The Marissa Mission will offer a stage performance and workshop in Improvisational Tribal Style (ITS) Belly Dance. ITS Belly Dance is a unique art form that is inspired by dance forms across the Middle East and Romani Trail. This style creates a solid bond between dancers without saying a word by creating a system of communication through movement. In addition to learning basic belly dance vocabulary, you'll also learn about creating formations and cues to create an improvisational yet synchronized dance format. It sounds more complex than it is, and it's a ton of fun!

Meals on Wheels People
The mission of the Meals on Wheels People is to enrich the lives of seniors and assist them in maintaining independence by making nutritious food, social contacts and other resources easily accessible. 

Join a preview of Microsoft's YouthSpark camps to discover the secrets to great game design as you check out the TouchDevelop Hub’s showcase of cool games – developed by programmers like you! After that, it’s your turn! First fix a Jetpack Jumper game via Microsoft Imagine on a Windows Phone or Surface Pro 3. The main character in the game is a crazy robot who is trying to make it through a maze of wacky obstacles.

Newspace Center for Photography
Check out Newspace's GirlFest Selfie Station! They have everything you need to make hilarious and glamorous memories all your own. This booth will also feature a live feed of morning workshop participants' expo photos and memories. Be sure to attend Newspace's workshop at 10 a.m. to learn professional secrets on taking great photos with your smart phone or camera and get on your way to checking off at least one of the three requirements for your Photography Badge before you even leave GirlFest.

NW Dance Project
Participate in short dance activities throughout the day in a range of dance styles - jazz, contemporary, ballet, hip hop, improvisation and creative movement. Girls will explore how to move their body through space, discover their artistic voice, and express themselves creatively through movement. Learn about NW Dance Project's Youth Dance Program for dancers ages 4-18, and adult classes!

OHSU ThinkFirst Oregon
Learn about volunteering opportunities with our OHSU ThinkFirst Oregon and learn about common brain injuries (concussion). Learn how a brain injury may affect a common task (such as stacking objects) and how a brain injury can have a major impact of quality of life. Most importantly, learn how to prevent brain injury!

Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom
Come join Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom and the Oregon Dairy Princess-Ambassadors as we make butter and pancakes! So many different agricultural products go into this simple meal. Learn about where your food comes from and make your own butter with a princess!

Oregon Children's Theatre
Oregon Children's Theatre is ready to take you on a theatrical adventure with free ticket opportunties to upcoming shows and information about the Acting Academy for children ages 3-8. Stop by to get some free coloring pages, too!

Oregon Humane Society
Do you speak dog? How about cat? Animal body language is important for both compassion and safety. This booth will include information about dog safety/body language, cat body language, how to schedule a tour (pet care badge), youth volunteer opportunities (OHS youth volunteers will be available to talk to the Girl Scouts). They will also have a pet related spin-the-wheel game for hands-on learning and a craft you can make to either take home or donate to shelter animals.

Oregon Museum of Science and Industry
Join OMSI for brainteasers and fun solvable puzzles suitable for all ages. Test your solving skills using analysis, creative thinking, computation or visual logic. OMSI staff are available to provide hints if needed to assure puzzles will be solved.

Oregon Robotics Tournament & Outreach Program (ORTOP)
First LEGO League is showcasing some Girl Scout Robotics projects and will have girls on hand to share their experiences with the First LEGO League Girl Scout teams.

Oregon Trail Volkssports
Walk for fun, fitness, and friendship! Walk on by for some volkssporting designed specifically for Girl Scouts, their leaders, and parents. Get those feet active with a mini-volkswalk inside the exhibit hall and get your Girl Scout Walk Together patch for all who complete the walk route.

Oregon Zoo
Discover overnight and evening safari opportunities for Girl Scouts with the Oregon Zoo! See an x-ray presentation, touch pelts and skulls, and get a special button.

Portland Festival Ballet
PFB wants to help girls explore the beauty of movement in dance from preballet to those seeking a career in dance. Experience a short ballet performance with workshop elements. Share the beauty of ballet!

Portland Fighting Shockwave
Come throw a football and hit the target! Try on shoulder pads, helmets, and uniforms and try tackling a practice dummy! This booth will knock your socks off!

Portland Fire & Rescue
Experience hands-on interaction with different tools and equipment on a fire engine or truck!

Portland Guadalajara Sister City Association (PGSCA)
PGSCA wants you to take home a prize if you win the Lotería Mexicana. In this game you shout out "Lotería" or "Buena" when your playing tablet matches the pattern and cards that have been called out. Discover the rich colors, riddles, and excitement of Lotería Mexicana and see what you might win.

Be a tech-savvy leader and media-maker! Girls will be able to watch movies and discuss them. Check out camera gear and learn about upcoming POWGirls workshops.

How do you roll? Rose City Rollers wants to invite you to learn about their Rose Petals and Rose Buds skater programs for girls. Get information about upcoming roller derby bouts and watch a roller girl show some moves every hour throughout GirlFest.

Explore science, technology, engineering and math with hands-on activities like Bridge Building with LEGOs, Soma Blocks, SpiroGraphs and more!

Society of Women Engineers
Engineering is cool, innovative, and fun! From fun, creative, smart and useful hands-on projects designed just for kids, to information packets about the society's membership benefits, you'll find something for everyone at this booth!

Learn about good stewardship of our environment by playing games and fun with hand-stamps. A special card-making station will help you learn about native plants and animals that you can help protect by volunteering with SOLVE.

Stop by this booth to purchase bow making kits and receive the materials and directions to complete them at GirlFest.

Troop 40060 Friendship Bracelet
Girl Scouts from Troop 40060 will teach you how to make the biggest and most colorful friendship bracelet you've ever seen! They need everyone's help to weave a gigantic bracelet, which will be as beautiful as the sum of its parts.

Troop 40201
This Girl Scout troop is made up of Cadettes and Seniors from Molalla and Colton, Oregon. Stop by their booth and help them earn money for a trip to Costa Rica in 2017.

Troop 41344
As Cadette Girl Scouts, Troop 41344 earned the Financing My Dreams badge, which inspired them to take a dream trip together. This year, they are planning and fundraising to earn money to go to San Diego, CA. In addition to having fun while there, they would like continue learning about what they can do to help oceans and marine life, including a service project.

Troop 41477
Stop by this booth to purchase a paracord bracelet kit and learn how to make bracelets! Your support will help Troop 41477 earn money for a trip out east.

Troop 45065 is a group of experienced face painters - a skill learned through Girl Scouts! Stop by and support Troop 45065 and enjoy showcasing a cool new look!

Check out the U.S. Navy's interactive STEM exhibit and learn about in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. See a laparoscopic surgery demo, a model of the new Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System, and enjoy interactive experiences that allow you to virtually engage with Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs), submarines, divers and undersea technologies. PoP Workshop // Power of Photography
Newspace Center for Photography is proud to present PoP! A Photography Workshop hosted by a former Girl Scout Brownie and Newspace.

Improvisational Tribal Style Belly Dance
Learn the basics of Improvisational Tribal Style (ITS) Belly Dance. This class will be taught by The Marissa Mission, a non-profit youth empowerment program that utilizes this dance, along with yoga and group discussion, to facilitate health and happiness in young people's lives. Peace Cranes with The Origami Lady
Learn to teach the origami Peace Crane. We'll even talk about cranes as a spirit animal. What they need to thrive. What we can do to help them. How we can wish for Peace, like a 12 year old girl did almost 70 years ago. In her honor, we call the origami crane the "Crane of Peace." This is how a 12 year old girl changed the world. We can, too!

This presentation covers the Navy's technological advancements, including its 60-year success of operating nuclear power reactors, as well as the variety of highly technical careers and advanced training opportunities. Talk to female Sailors currently serving in these roles to see what it's really like being a woman in today's Navy.

Dance Moves
Come groove and explore the different elements of dance with NW Dance Project! This 30 minute dance class is sure to leave you feeling inspired to continue dancing throughout the day!

Comic Artist Badge
Do you like reading comics? Ever wanted to try making your own? Join us at GirlFest and earn the Comic Artist badge!  Learn about the world of comics, choose a story, and write and draw a paneled comic of your very own! Space is limited- you won’t want to miss it! (Badge not included but all requirements met.)

Crafting a Short Story
Spark your creativity! Learn the steps in crafting a short story in this hands-on workshop. Get inspirational writing prompts and climb the story mountain. Great for fulfilling step two of the requirements for the Scribe badge.

The Fab Lab
This workshop is about small ways girls can incorporate science into their everyday life. There will be a talk and demonstration based on ice cream, and a nail painting project. If time allows, we may even make butter to give friends as gifts!

Making Butter with the Oregon Dairy Princess Ambassador
Come learn about dairy farming in Oregon from the 2015 Oregon Dairy Princess, Emma Miller. Emma will discuss the process of milk from cow to carton. After learning more about dairy cows, dairy farms and dairy foods participants will have the opportunity to make their own butter! Come join the fun! 

Experience a Different Culture, Think from a Different Perspective: Learn How Others See the World!
International students will present how their culture is different from ours and why that is important for American Students to learn. AFS will have four international hosted students give presentations on how they see the world, greet people, learn in their own school in their home country, talk about stereotypes and share why immersing in a different culture can improve critical thinking skills, enhance creativity and begin to build a more just and peaceful world.
