What issues matter to you most? The environment, protecting animals, education? Would you like to understand more about the process of how ideas become laws? Did you know that you can have your voice heard through public and written testimony? Girl Scouts will have a unique opportunity to learn how to have their voices heard on legislation affecting issues they care about. Senator Shemia Fagan (D-Portland, District 24) and Representative Cheri Helt (R-Bend, District 54) will meet with Girl Scouts to provide a brief talk and Q&A about the legislative process. Girl Scouts will be able to dig in and gain all of the information and knowledge they need to feel confident to engage in the legislative process on issues they care about!
