Are you interested in the cosmos and universe outside of Earth's atmosphere? Then join the Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington Astronomy Club for their kickoff event! Check out some of the activities the club has done in the past, including doing your very own fun and hands on space activity at home. The Astronomy Club is girl-led with volunteer and council staff support, and its virtual and in-person programming are open to Girl Scouts of all ages across the council. See all you sky watchers soon!
Participant Information
This event is open to current Girl Scout members and youth interested in becoming Girl Scout members. Invite a friend to join you! Not yet a member? This event is a great way to try Girl Scoutsafter selecting a youth ticket, choose non-member when registering for this event.
This workshop takes place online. Be sure to complete the Girl Scout Internet Safety Pledge before you start.

When Girl Scouts join the GSOSW Astronomy Club they will recieve a club fun patch. Throughout the year the club hosts activities that complete steps in all levels of the Space Science badge series and more!

Registration closes October 4, 2023. Request for cancellation or transfer must be submitted via email to answers@girlscoutsosw.org by this date. No refund is available as the cost of the event is free.
GSOSW reserves the right to cancel an event due to low
