Join us for this USA Archery Level 1 Instructor certification course, which certifies participants to lead archery programs for three years, provides the necessary tools to maintain a high level of safety both on and off the archery range for camps and beginner archery programs. This training has both an online component through USA Archery (taking approximately 4 hours) and an in-person component; if you do not complete the online portion prior to the training date, you will not be permitted to attend the Archery Instructor Training and will not be offered a refund. This is a USA Archery requirement, and GSOSW is unable to make exceptions.
This training is for initial certification. If you need to RE-certify, you can do that directly with the USArchery Level 1 Instructor REFRESHER/RENEWAL Course
Note: Participants will pay $5 to GSOSW upon registration, and an additional $40 directly to USA Archery. This training has been generously subsidized by the Theda Family Endowment for member year 2026.

Participant Information
- This training will take place from 9 am to 1 pm on 9/19. This training will take place at Camp Mountaindale.
- A confirmation email with additional details will be sent out a few days before the training.
- Participants need to be present for an entire course in order to receive credit for the training. Late arrival participation will be evaluated by the trainer.
Price
- $45/adult ($5 paid to GSOSW during registration, additional $40 paid directly to USA Archery during course).
Prerequisite Training Requirements
- This training is to be taken before leading an archery activity with your Girl Scouts.
- Online pre-work MUST be completed ahead of in-person course.
Registration, Cancellation & Refund Information
- Registration closes on 9/6.
- Request for cancellation must be submitted via email to answers@gsosw.org by this date in order to receive a refund less this training's cancellation fee ($3).
- No refunds will be given after the registration deadline.
- GSOSW reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If GSOSW cancels an event, registrants will be notified and offered a full refund.
