Service Unit Web Pages
Each service unit has a Web page on our site that lists local events, volunteer meeting minutes and a current service team roster. These Web pages are managed by a volunteer on your service team.

Join our Yahoo! group – Our Yahoo! group is a platform for volunteers to communicate with one another and share ideas (e.g. ask questions, get advice, promote service unit events and service project ideas, etc.). This group is not listed in the Yahoo! groups directory because membership is restricted to our council's volunteers and staff. To join, visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/gsosw/
Important note: Everyone has a different threshold for how much e-mail they can handle! If you find the volume overwhelming, your group subscription can be set to any of the following settings. You choose which option you want when you sign up and can change it at any time.
- Individual emails – Receive each email message as it is sent.
- Daily digest – If you choose this option, you will receive one email a day containing up to 25 messages from the previous day.
- No mail/special notices – If you choose either of these options, you will not receive any email from the group. Instead, you must visit the group home page to read the messages.
