Have you heard the news? This summer, Girl Scouts released three new STEM Career Exploration badges for Girl Scout Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes—and we’re throwing a celebration event! Join us on Saturday, November 14 AND Sunday, November 15, 2020, for Girl Scout STEMapalooza!
STEMapalooza is a two-day, virtual event filled with exciting STEM experiences. Engage with STEM experts and explore STEM experiments through live webinar panels, live science demonstrations, self-guided activities and more. It is sure to be a weekend filled with fun—we hope you’ll join us!
Cost: $7.50/girl (and includes a mailed STEMapalooza fun patch)
Open to: All Girl Scout members and all girls in grades K-12

The Girl Scout STEMapalooza activity packet will be sent directly to you via email one week before the event. This activity packet includes links to attend each virtual session, a list of materials needed for live activity presentations, and self-guided activity instructions. Please note that no materials for this event will be mailed to your household.

How do I register for the
live activities, presentations and expert panels?
GSOSW staff will lead the
event through private video streaming software. You will receive the
Girl Scout STEMapalooza activity packet via email one week before
this event, which will include links to attend each virtual session.
What supplies will I need
for this activity?
To attend, you will need access to a
computer with an internet connection, the Girl Scout STEMapalooza
activity packet, and materials for the live activity presentations and
self-guided activities. You will receive the Girl Scout STEMapalooza
activity packet via email one week before this event. This activity
packet will include links to attend each virtual session, a list of
materials needed for live activity presentations, and self-guided
activity instructions.
Does my child have to attend every virtual session to get the
STEMapalooza patch?
While we offer a variety of different
workshops nearly every hour, girls can pick and choose which ones
interest them the most, and can choose to go to as many or as little
as they like. In addition, Registering for STEMapalooza grants girls
access to six new self-guided activities to explore STEM outdoors, or
away from the screen!
