skills for at least 6 months
Enjoy an overnight of cabin camping with your troop at
Camp Whispering Winds! Explore hiking trails, learn new outdoor
skills, spend time with your friends, and camp in cabins. Troops are
responsible for all of their own camping gear and food for the
weekend.
Participant Information
This is a Girl Scout activity for registered members only.
Girls must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or
troop leader. AND adults are required to register and pay to attend.
This is not a drop-off activity.

$27.50/girl
$27.50/adult
In order to apply
your Girl Scout's Program Credits to her balance for an event
registration, please select to pay with Program Credits during
registration AND complete the GSOSW
Events Program Credit Payment Form and be sure to read all form
instructions before submitting. Our council can only accept Program
Credit payments from GSOSW members.
Badge and/or
Patch Information
A fun patch will be provided.
Food
All meals, snacks and beverages must be planned for and
provided by each troop for thier own members.
Supplies
Troops must bring all of their own camping gear including
tents, sleeping bags, mats, pillows, outdoor cooking equipment,
activities, etc. A full supply list will be sent when event
registration closes.
Adult Training Requirements
At least one adult volunteer for each Girl Scout troop/group
must have completed Outdoor Skills Training AND either Girl Scouts
Inside & Out Parts 1 & 2 OR Day Trips and Indoor Overnights
Training. There are no adult training requirements for those
chaperoning a single girl or Juliette.

Registration for this activity is hosted by Girl Scouts. Please
email answers@girlscoutsosw.org
on or before the registration deadline for assistance.
Registration closes on June 9. Request for
cancellation/refund or transfer must be submitted via email to answers@girlscoutsosw.org
by this date. A refund less the council administrative fee is
available.
GSOSW reserves the right to cancel an event
due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the
event non-viable. If GSOSW cancels an event, registrants will be
notified and offered a full refund.
