Come learn vital skills to help your Girl Scouts prepare to leave
your regular meeting place! This training is the first in our two-part
Girl Scouts Inside and Out series in the required adult training
progression. This training is required before you leave the meeting
place, and is best taken after you've held 3-6 troop meetings so that
you have a solid understanding of your troop's needs.
Objectives/Outcomes of this training:
- Prepare to assist Girl Scouts with planning and implementing
safe, fun, and successful meetings and short outings close to the
meeting place.
- Learn more about troop logistics,
readiness, progression, and how to keep everything you do with your
troop girl-led.
- Interact with and learn from other
leaders
- Learn from real examples of solutions to challenges
faced when first leaving the meeting place with Girl Scouts.
Participant Information
- This training will take place from 9 am to 12:15 pm on July
19. This training will take place at Oak Hills Church - 2800 NW
153rd Ave, Beaverton, OR 97006.
- A confirmation email with
additional details will be sent out a few days before the
training.
- Participants need to be present for an entire
course in order to receive credit for the training. Late arrival
participation will be evaluated by the trainer.

Reporter Training
- This training is to be taken before you
leave the meeting place and after meeting with your Girl Scouts for
at least three months.
Registration, Cancellation & Refund Information
- Registration closes on July 16.
- Request for
cancellation must be submitted via email to answers@gsosw.org
by this date in order to receive a refund less this training's
cancellation fee ($3).
- No refunds will be given after the
registration deadline.
- GSOSW reserves the right to cancel
an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would
make the event non-viable. If GSOSW cancels an event, registrants
will be notified and offered a full refund.
