Come learn vital skills to help your Girl Scouts prepare to leave
your regular meeting place! This training is the second in our
"Before" series and has replaced Girl Scouts Inside and Out
Part 1 in the required adult training progression. This training is
required before you leave the meeting place and after you've held 3-6
troop meetings so that you have a solid understanding of your troop's
dynamics and progression level.
Objectives/Outcomes of this training:
- Prepare to assist Girl Scouts with planning and implementing
safe, fun, and successful meetings and short outings close to the
meeting place.
- Learn more about troop logistics,
readiness, progression, and how to keep everything you do with your
troop girl-led.
- Interact with and learn from other
leaders
- Learn from real examples of solutions to challenges
faced when first leaving the meeting place with Girl Scouts.
Participant Information
- This training will take place from 6 pm to 8:30 pm on 2/13.
This training will take place at Mill Plain United Methodist Church,
Vancouver.
- A confirmation email with additional details will
be sent out a few days before the training.
- Participants
need to be present for an entire course in order to receive credit
for the training. Late arrival participation will be evaluated by
the trainer.

Supplies
Your registration includes all supplies needed for the course
outside of your personal note-taking materials.

- gsLearn: GSOSW Foundations
- gsLearn: Mandatory
Reporter Training
- This training is to be taken before you
leave the meeting place and after meeting with your Girl Scouts for
at least three months.
Registration, Cancellation & Refund Information
- Registration closes on 2/10.
- Request for
cancellation must be submitted via email to answers@gsosw.org
by this date in order to receive a refund less this training's
cancellation fee ($3).
- No refunds will be given after the
registration deadline.
- GSOSW reserves the right to cancel
an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would
make the event non-viable. If GSOSW cancels an event, registrants
will be notified.
