Upon completing this course, you will be certified in Adult and Child First Aid, CPR, and AED for two years. One adult with this certification is required to be present for all Girl Scout events and activities taking place outside of the meeting place. This training is blended with both online and in-person instruction.
Online Portion
After the registration deadline, you will receive an email with detailed information on completing the required online portion of this class. If you do not receive the email for the online portion at least five days before the training, contact answers@girlscoutsosw.org. Please check your junk folder, as it may be flagged as spam.
All online coursework must be completed before the in-person component. The online portion will take between 3-5 hours to complete. Upon completing the online segment, you will receive a Red Cross certificate via email detailing completion. Please save this certificate and present it to your instructor when you check into the in-person segment. If the online coursework is not completed, you will not be able to attend the training, and you will not be certified or refunded -- these are Red Cross requirements, and GSOSW is unable to make exceptions.
In-Person Portion
