Join us for an interactive, hands-on training to become a qualified
Low Ropes course facilitator! The Low Ropes course facilitator
qualification allows you to safely and properly facilitate a low ropes
course experience on GSOSW properties (Cleawox, Mountaindale, and
Whispering Winds), and is valid for three years. Participants should
come to this training ready to participate, engage in the
instructor-led activities, and learn by doing.
This
training has been generously subsidized by the Theda Family Endowment
for member year 2026.

- Ice-breakers
- Initiatives
- Trust
- Spotting
- Low ropes course elements
- Debriefing the entire experience
Participant Information
- This training will take place from 3 pm to 7 pm on 4/4. This training will take place at Camp Mountaindale.
- A confirmation email with additional details will be sent out a few days before the training.
- Participants need to be present for an entire course in order to receive credit for the training. Late arrival participation will be evaluated by the trainer.

Prerequisite Training Requirements
This training is to be taken before leading an low ropes
activity with your Girl Scouts.
Registration, Cancellation & Refund Information
- Registration closes on 3/29.
- Request for cancellation must be submitted via email to answers@gsosw.org by this date in order to receive a refund less this training's cancellation fee ($15).
- No refunds will be given after the registration deadline.
- GSOSW reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If GSOSW cancels an event, registrants will be notified and offered a full refund.
