Adventure is calling! Whether you're a seasoned explorer or a
beginner, Outdoor Day has something for everyone. This exciting
expo-style event is packed with fun activities and hands-on
experiences for all ages. Enjoy guided nature walks, test your aim at
the archery range, build outdoor skills and participate in fun outdoor
activities led by our outdoor program partners.

Morning Session from 10 am -1 pm.
Participant Information
- This event is open to current Girl Scout members and youth interested in becoming Girl Scout members. Invite a friend to join you! Not yet a member? This event is a great way to try Girl Scouts-after selecting a girl ticket, choose "non-member" when registering for this event.
- Girls must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or troop leader AND adults are required to register and pay. This is not a drop-off activity.
- Attending as a troop? Follow the safety ratios listed in Volunteer Essentials. Note: attending with any girl other than your own qualifies you as a Girl Scout group that needs to follow ratio requirements.

- Youth under 4 = Free with registered adult caregiver
- In order to apply your Girl Scout's Program Credits to the balance for an event registration, please select to pay with Program Credits during registration. When processing Program Credit payments, staff will automatically use the oldest Program Credit card the Girl has available by default. If you would like a different card to be used, please email answers@gsosw.org. Our council can only accept Program Credit payments from GSOSW members.
Badge and/or Patch Information
All attendees will receive an Outdoor Day fun patch.
Food
Participants are welcome to bring a snack and water bottle.
Food will not be available onsite.
Supplies
This is an outdoor event that will run rain or shine. Please
consider wearing sturdy close-toed shoes in order to participate in
activities. Dress in layers and apply sunscreen.
Adult Training Requirements
If attending as a troop, at least one adult must have completed
Before You Leave the Meeting Place (Formerly Inside and Out Part 1).
There are no adult training requirements for those chaperoning a
single girl or Juliette.

Cancellation & Refund Information
- Registration closes on April 26, 2026. Request for cancellation/refund must be submitted via email to answers@gsosw.org by this date. A refund less the administrative cancellation fee (50%) is available if requested by this date.
- Request for transfer (applying registration to another Girl Scout) must be submitted via email to answers@gsosw.org by this date.
- GSOSW reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If GSOSW cancels an event, registrants will be notified and offered a full refund.
