Wilderness Wanderers is an adventure-packed camp designed for Girl
Scouts Cadettes and older, as well as adult volunteers interested in
learning wilderness hiking and backpacking skills. Begin your journey
indoors, mastering the essentials of wilderness hiking and
backpacking, from gear and nutrition to clothing and trail safety. By
Night 3, you'll be under the stars in your backpacking tent, testing
your skills and cooking dinner on your own backpacking stove. On Day
4, it's time to hit the trail for a 5-mile overnight backpacking trip,
where you'll camp in the heart of nature. With new skills, confidence,
and unforgettable memories, you'll return on Day 5 ready to take on
any adventure.
