Keep her engaged and inspired in challenging times.

In challenging times, our Girl Scout grit shines the brightest. That’s why we’re prepared to be a source of consistency for you and your girl when you need it most. Now you can access the Girl Scout experience she knows and loves in a way she can enjoy right now.

While many of the things she was looking forward to are canceled, Girl Scouts is still happening. From home and online, for as long as she needs to, she can:

  • Keep the Girl Scout experience going and stay connected while earning badges through online activities with the NEW Girl Scouts at Home and local At-home Program from GSOSW
  • Participate in live virtual events and safe service projects that keep her engaged and inspired
  • Gain tangible, innovative problem-solving and life skills
  • Grow confidence in her outdoor skills and learn how to be a champion for the environment 
  • Expand her imagination through hands-on STEM activities 

New activities and resources will be added regularly as we continue to adapt to her needs—we’re here for her! The best part is that every experience and skill we can offer her right now will help her continue to be successful at school and in life when it’s time for us all to come together again.

See below for information on special incentives for girls, troops and service units when you renew May 1 - June 30, 2020. We know you have so much going on right now, so whenever you’re ready, no matter when that is, we just want you to know we’re here for you.

Did You Know?

Troop funds can be used for girl and adult membership renewals! Just as with other important group decisions, this is an opportunity for a meaningful troop conversation. What a great chance for girls to exercise financial independence, practice girl-led financial decision making, and enjoy the benefits of their collaborative efforts. Individual girls can also use Cookie Credits for their own renewal.

Trouble Logging In?

Q: Why isn’t my username working?
A: Your username is typically your email address. If you have more than one email address, try each. You can also use the “Forgot Your Password?” link to send a reset email to your email address. If you’re still having trouble, contact us at answers@girlscoutsosw.org.

Q: Why aren’t I getting the password reset emails?
A: The password reset emails come from gsusacustomercare@girlscouts.org, so please make sure it’s added to your safe senders list. If you requested the reset email before marking this email address as safe, check your spam folder. If you’re still not receiving the email, contact us at answers@girlscoutsosw.org to verify that your username/email address is correct.

Q: How do I reset my password when I no longer have access to the email address associated with my account?
A: Our Customer Care team can easily change your username/email address without requiring you to recreate your account. Contact us at answers@girlscoutsosw.org for support.

Q: Why can’t I see my family when I log in?
A: There are a couple reasons this could happen:

  • Another adult family member may be listed as the preferred contact on the account. That person must log in to renew. Contact us at answers@girlscoutsosw.org if you’d like to be listed as your household’s preferred contact.
  • You may have a second or duplicate account with a different email address. Try a different username. If that works, be sure to contact us at answers@girlscoutsosw.org to merge the two accounts into one.

Q: Why can’t I see my troop(s) when I log in?
A: There are several reasons this could happen:

  • Troops are listed on a separate tab from your family. If you have more than one troop, look for the pull-down menu to change between them.
  • Check your member profile to make sure you’re listed as a troop leader in the troop.
  • If your background check has expired, you may lose access until it is up-to-date.

Renew by June 30 to take advantage of special benefits:

Renewal Patch: All girls who renew by June 30 receive a FREE patch (shown above).

Camp On! Coupon: All girls who renew by June 30 will receive a coupon code for $5 off their August Camp On! experience kit or August Camp In Campout registration. Coupon codes will be delivered by email prior to the registration open date for August's experiences, and all who qualify will be notified by email when registration opens. A limited number of  experience kits are available while supplies last; coupon code does not guarantee registration. Offer only available to Girl Scouts renewing with Girl Scouts of Oregon and SW Washington.

Early Bird Drawing: Beginning May 1 and ending June 30, each troop that renews at least five girls and two troop leaders for the 2021 membership year will be entered into a drawing for one of three $50 property credit vouchers that can be used at any of our council properties.

Service Unit Penny: If your service unit renews at least 50%* of its girl membership (*measured as of March 31), it will receive a penny for each box of cookies sold in the SU - and that means more fun activities for girls in your area!
