Tiered Pricing
GSOSW’s overnight camps use tiered pricing to keep camp affordable for families while also expressing the true cost of overnight camp. GSOSW does not make a profit on overnight camp programs. Tiered prices are listed in each overnight camp session description as tier one/tier two/tier three (e.g. $1,025/925/825).
- Tier one reflects the actual cost of camp including staffing, program supplies, food, and maintenance costs (e.g. $1,025).
- Tier two is a partially subsidized fee (e.g. $925).
- Tier three is an additionally subsidized fee (e.g. $825).
Regardless of what tier your family is able to pay, all Girl Scouts will enjoy the same high-quality camp experience. When registering for camp, please choose the tier your family can afford. Your tiered pricing selection can be adjusted after registration if requested by email, subject “Camp Tiered Pricing”. Tiered pricing, a form of financial assistance, is only available while funds last and is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
What are Program Credits?
When selling Girl Scout Cookies and other products, girls earn program credits that they can use for a variety of Girl Scout-related activities, including camp. To learn more about how your girl can earn program credits this year, email answers@girlscoutsosw.org.
To use program credits for overnight camp or trading post, you must first complete your camp registration and pay the $75 deposit. Once these steps are complete, go to the Online Forms section of your camp registration account and fill out the Overnight Camp Program Credit Payment form (see form for submission details). GSOSW staff will process the program credit payment within 7–10 business days.
Balance and Payment Options
A $75 non-refundable deposit is due at registration to reserve your camper's spot. Financial assistance is available to help families make this deposit. You may choose to pay your camp balance in full at the time of registration or make additional payments leading up to the payment due date.
The due date for the camp balance depends on the date of the camp program. Programs with a start date in July have balances due on June 15. Programs with a start date in August have balances due on July 15. Any balances not paid by the corresponding date will incur a $35 late fee. GSOSW offers a four-day grace period to pay your total balance before full cancellation. This is to ensure that those on the camp waitlist have an opportunity to register. Payments may be made online in your camp registration account.
