Tiered Pricing
Our council offers tiered pricing to keep camp affordable for girls and their families, while also expressing the true cost of overnight camp, as GSOSW does not make a profit on our overnight camp programs.
- Tier one reflects the actual cost of camp, including staff, program supplies, food and maintenance costs.
- Tier two is a partially subsidized fee.
- Tier three is a fully subsidized fee. You can select tier three as your pricing option without applying for financial assistance.
Regardless of what tier your family is able to pay, all girls will enjoy the same high-quality camp experience. When registering for camp, please choose the tier your family can afford. Tiered prices are listed with each camp session description as tier one/tier two/tier three (e.g. $875/775/675). Tiered pricing can be adjusted after registration if requested by email. Tiered pricing, a form of financial assistance, is only available while funds last and is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
What are Program Credits?
When selling Girl Scout Cookies and other products, girls earn program credits that they can use for a variety of Girl Scout-related activities, including camp. To learn more about how your girl can earn program credits this year, email answers@girlscoutsosw.org.
Balance and Payment Options
A $75 non-refundable deposit is due at registration to reserve your camper’s spot. Financial assistance cannot be used towards this deposit. You may choose to pay your camp balance in full at the time of registration or make additional payments leading up to the payment due date.
The balance of the camp fee is due six (6) weeks before the first day of the camp session. Any balances which are not paid six weeks before this date will incur a $35 late fee. GSOSW is offering a four (4) day grace period to pay your total balance before full cancellation. This is to ensure that those on the waitlist have an opportunity to register. Payments may be made online in your camp registration account via VISA, MasterCard, Discover, program credits, or via check mailed to GSOSW’s Portland Service Center.
