Ready to help your community and earn one of the highest awards in Girl Scouting? Cadettes can team up with a small group of fellow Girl Scouts or work on their own. To earn the Silver Award, you will research an issue you care about, make a plan to address it, and then take action to improve your community.
Are in sixth, seventh, or eighth grade

Let our council know you want to earn your Silver Award by registering to attend an upcoming Silver Award workshop. If you aren't able to attend, contact firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know you'd like to view the recording.
Find an issue you care about.
Build your Girl Scout Silver Award team or decide to go solo.
Explore your community and think of how that issue affects your community.
Choose a Silver Award project that can lead to lasting change.

Be on the lookout for a new Cadette Workbook and Adult Guide, a new proposal* and final report form (both to be approved by the Troop leader or Juliette mentor), Volunteer Toolkit meetings, and more!
*Please note that Girl Scout Cadettes who are already in progress on their Silver Awards before 9/30 will not need to submit a proposal to their adult mentor.
