Based on her firsthand experience navigating the Program Aide (PA) process, Cassidy recognized the need to make this training more accessible to cultivate the next generation of leaders. After working with experts and compiling some suggested amendments to the current curriculum, she and her team created and tested supply kits for PA training at three day camps. She was then able to modify the kits based on feedback, and she created an extra supply kit to share with others. The kits contain instructions for various activities and the necessary supplies so that any leader could successfully lead the training. She also created a blog with instructions and information to help any leader replicate the project and run this important training in day camps or other environments.
