Relying on her own experience, Kira created care bags for teens undergoing cancer treatment. After she identified age-appropriate items to boost the patients’ spirits, she and her team of volunteers created a wishlist, gathered items, sorted and packed the items, and donated them to a local children’s hospital. The team from her church plans to continue creating the care bags.
