Automotive Exploration

To encourage young girls' interest in engineering and STEM careers, Genesis organized and hosted a series of events focused on girls building and racing their own model cars. She recruited women currently working in the engineering field to speak to participants about their experiences and teach about automotive engineering. She also organized a derby race to showcase the girls' vehicles and what they learned from the experience. She also created a resource on how to replicate the events, and an event volunteer has agreed to run it in the future.
