After the loss of a loved one and noticing a need for more support for youth dealing with grief, Saige created a camp for kids focusing on grief and mental health. With the help of the Dougy Center, a youth grief counseling organization, and her volunteers, she was able to run the camp with various therapeutic activities, such as music, art, and time spent outdoors. She brought in teenagers with similar experiences to volunteer as counselors, who had a smaller age gap with the participating youth. She was also able to bring in experts to teach the kids coping skills. The Dougy Center has agreed to continue the camp as an annual event, with youth counselors to help run it.
