After the loss of a loved one, Saige noticed a need for more youth perspective in support for dealing with grief. She worked with a local organization to contribute to their camp for kids focusing on grief and mental health. She brought in teenagers who shared similar experiences to volunteer as counselors at the camp, helping to bridge the age gap between campers and leaders. She also created partnerships and had experts teach the kids coping skills. The Dougy Center has agreed to continue running the camp with her contributions.
