Avenue of Flags

Supporting her community’s tradition of flying flags to celebrate holidays and people, Alyssa created about 40 improved flag holders on sidewalks in her city. She and her team of volunteers designed, built, and installed flag holders that will be easier to maintain and use. She created an information booklet explaining how to build the holders and a local community foundation has agreed to maintain them.
