Shifting Perspectives on Dyslexia

From personal experience, Sophia knew how important it was for families to identify children with dyslexia to better meet their educational needs. She gave multiple presentations in her community to educate parents and children about dyslexia and identified and obtained funding to create a free online screening tool for families. Her materials included written pamphlets, podcasts, and the creation of a social media group for families. The materials are available at her local library.
