Welcome Bundles

Olivia wanted to help when she learned about a new local organization’s efforts to provide temporary homes to veterans. She learned that each resident could use a “Welcome Bundle” to outfit their new home. Olivia and her team solicited, gathered, organized, made homemade blankets, and delivered enough bundles to serve all the existing homes, plus more for new residents to come. By doing so, Olivia also publicized the existence of the organization and its continuing needs to her community. Local Girl Scout troops have agreed to take on the task of continuing to supply bundles to the organization.
Olivia is an Emerald Circle Scholarship recipient. Congratulations, Olivia!
