You can pursue your Girl Scout Gold Award if:
You're in high school (ninth through twelfth grade, or
You're registered as a Girl Scout Senior or Girl Scout
You have completed two Senior or Ambassador Journeys OR earned the
Girl Scout Silver Award and completed a Journey

Gold Award Interviews
All Girl Scout Gold Awards must be approved via an interview process by GSOSW’s Teen Awards Team. Gold Award interviews are conducted as needed. Interviews are currently being done remotely over Zoom. Once you submit your proposal or final report form, you will be contacted by Shannon Shea to coordinate your interview. Please expect a one to two week turnaround time. There are two interviews total, one is the proposal interview which occurs at step 5, and second, is the final interview which occurs at step 7 (see below).

2020 High School Graduates (utilizing national extension granted by
GSUSA due to COVID-19)
Proposals are no longer being accepted for this extension.
Final Reports Due (recommended): December 1, 2020
Final Interview by December 31, 2020. Remember time is needed to schedule the interview, and the final interview deadline is over the winter holidays (when many folks may have limited availability), so please contact Shannon Shea at firstname.lastname@example.org by December 7, 2020 to ensure that you are scheduled before the deadline.
2021 High School Graduates
Final Reports Due (recommended): September 23, 2021
Final Interview by September 30, 2021. Remember that we need time to schedule the interview, so please contact Shannon Shea at email@example.com at least one week prior to the deadline to schedule an interview time.
National Gold Award Girl Scouts 2021
Final Reports Due: March 2021
Reports received after these dates will be eligible for National Gold Award Girl Scouts 2021.
Council-wide Gold Award Recognition Ceremony 2021
Final Reports Due: May 3, 2021
Reports received after these dates will be recognized at the 2022 ceremony.
All reports submitted by May 3, 2021 will be recognized at the 2021 ceremony on June 19, 2021.
